1. Know Your Why
Have you ever started something with all the excitement and energy you could
muster only to discover halfway through that it was more work than you imagined, and you end up quitting as a result?
This has happened to me more times than I can count.
Here’s where knowing your ‘why’ comes in handy.
When it comes to shopping your closet, think about why you want to make this
change for yourself and how it will improve your life.
Maybe you want to be more sustainable, or you want to be able to put together an outfit quicker in the morning.
Whatever your reason, write it down and leave it somewhere noticeable.
TIP: Physically write out your why and place it somewhere in your line of sight.
I wrote my why on a sticky note and stuck it to my closet door, which meant I would constantly be reminded of my why every time I walked towards my closet.
Trust me when I say this, it’s a more effective motivator than you can imagine.
