You know that feeling that you’ll never have enough clothing to feel satisfied with your wardrobe?

Have you ever thought to yourself, ‘once I have x, y and z in my closet, I’ll be happy’, only to finally get all of those items and still want more?

Enter: The 30 Day Shop Your Closet Challenge.

What is the Closet Challenge?

The 30 Day Shop Your Closet Challenge, as the name suggests, is a challenge wherein you shop your own closet instead of retail stores to create your outfits for one month.

Definitely not.

But in today’s society which promotes endless consumerism, I would argue that this challenge is more pertinent now more than ever.

What’s In It For You?

This challenge will help to provide perspective on what pieces we actually need in our wardrobes.

It’s a chance to get creative with the pieces you already have and love in your closet instead of turning towards buying a new outfit or collection of pieces to create an outfit.

You’ll learn what your ride-or die garments are (if you think you know what these are now, think again!)

And you might also develop a newfound love for the piece you never thought you’d wear again.

You know the one that you threw at the back of your closet and forgot about?

Yeah, that one.

Finally, and arguably the best perk to this challenge (especially if you’re a reformed shopaholic like me), your wallet gets a month off from clothing purchases!
